Because of Wallace

Katelyn Williams is an Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) student and a Wallace Foundations scholarship recipient. Katelyn received the Toyota of Dothan scholarship, which helps Katelyn pay for fees, books, lab kits, and simulation center codes. The Wallace Foundations can provide scholarships for students like Katelyn because of generous community partners like Toyota of Dothan. “This is a blessing and will help me tremendously,” said Katelyn.

“It is important for me to complete a college degree because I promised myself, from a very young age, that I would make it happen,” said Katelyn. “Neither of my parents have a college degree, and I want to be the first to do so in our family. I have two younger sisters, and I want to lead by example for them.” After graduation, Katelyn plans to continue her education at a four-year university for her bachelor’s degree in nursing.
